A FEW PICTURES FROM AFGHANISTAN

Our first (as yet untitled) film is about the celebrated war photographer David Pratt, and the 40 year relationship he has with Afghanistan. He first went there in the 80s, and travelled with a Mujahideen faction under the wing of its commander Sayed Anwari during the war against the Soviet Red Army. He has returned many times over the years, during the Civil War in the 90s, the period of Taliban rule and the long campaign of Western intervention 2001-present. The film is in post production and due for completion in November 2019. It is funded by BBC Scotland and Screen Scotland.
